The coronavirus pandemic transformed profoundly the ways people work and interact. Our professional lives shifted to the virtual space. This transition presented new challenges and opportunities. Especially impacted were activities involving travel and on-site presence which specifically affects the functioning of QI institutions.   

The SEE QI Project 8: WB6 QI response to COVID-19 organizes an

Virtual Exchange of Experience on Innovation in QI due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

10:00 – 12:00 CET

Objective:

The goal of the virtual event is to facilitate exchange of experiences about innovative adaptations that QI institutions have undertaken during the pandemic in order to continue their work. The focus will be especially on innovations that are likely to persists even after the pandemic has subsided. 

Content: 

The event will feature a theoretical input, five case studies of innovations by QI institutions from different WB6 countries as well as peer-to-peer exchanges in three breakout groups organized by type of QI institution (metrology institutes, accreditation bodies and standards bodies) during which all participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and discuss innovative solutions.
